4TH ANNUAL
BLACK FRIDAY DA-ATHON!

What is a DA-Athon, you ask?  It’s an all-day marathon of Debtors Anonymous meetings!  On the biggest shopping day of the year, come someplace safe to immerse yourself in recovery from insanity around your finances.

There will be 1-hour speaker meetings every 90 minutes, starting at 8am; the last meeting is 5-6pm.  Speakers will share their experience, strength and hope for anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes, followed by open sharing.  There will be some snacks and drinks available, and you’re also welcome to bring your own.  We’ll pass the 7th tradition basket at each meeting, but there is no other fee/donation asked/required.  We plan to have literature and newcomer packs available.  Please click here to see an updated detailed schedule of speakers.

Street parking is available, and the hospital is allowing free parking in their on-site lots for the holiday weekend.

We’ll have a speaker for approximately 25 minutes, followed by open sharing for 45 minutes.  There will be some light, healthy snacks provided, and you are welcome to bring a brown-bag dinner.  There will be some time for fellowship & support following the meeting.

Parking: Multi-level parking structure off H Street or street parking on J Street and surrounding streets.

• A 12×12 for DA?!  Yes, it’s true, although so far it’s just the steps, not the traditions, so people are calling it “THE 12.”  It’s still in manuscript form, but you can purchase one yourself by clicking here for an order form, OR your local DA meeting probably has plans to purchase a stack of them, so check with your literature person.
