IMPORTANT LOCATION CHANGE!
The Saturday 11am DA meeting will now meet in the Mission Conference Room at Mercy General (their old chapel), which is located behind Acute Rehab in the North-Eastern-most building (you can see the stained glass windows from H Street). Likely the best places to park are in the large parking structure off H Street, or street parking on the side streets connected to H Street where there is free 2-hour parking. This is a permanent change, starting Saturday December 3rd, as far as anything in life is permanent. |

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR 2016
Most DA meetings in the Sacto area change over service positions every six months. That means the people who were serving as secretary or literature or treasurer or greeter are ready to let someone else take the wheel. Doing service is a wonderful way to deepen your recovery, and is the only reason 12-Step groups are able to keep going. Someone was there when you first arrived; is it your turn to be there for someone else? There are lots of positions open, and perfection is not a requirement, so dip your toe in the warm, welcoming water of giving back. |

OTHER WAYS TO CELEBRATE DA’S 40TH BIRTHDAY
Maybe dance parties and potlucks aren’t your thing, or your schedule just won’t make it happen. There are other ways to honor this momentous occasion, pick one that feels good to you:
- Make a 7th Tradition contribution to your homegroup or GSO for the same amount of years you’ve been in DA.
- Reach out to a newcomer with an outreach call or an offer to sponsor.
- Serve on a PRG.
- Attend a business meeting.
- Go to a new meeting.
- Visit an Intergroup meeting to see all the various ways you can be of service to the Sacramento fellowship.
